In a beautiful tribute to the Aga Khan on his 66th Imamat Day, Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner says that the work of the Ismaili Center “is progressing with a significant structure already in place”

The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, welcomed Mawlana Hazar Imam, His Highness the Aga Khan, to Houston, Texas, on March 18, 2018, in commemoration of his Diamond Jubilee, which celebrated his 60 years as spiritual leader of the Shai Ismaili Muslims:

The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, has extended a special greeting to Mawlana Hazar Imam, His Highness the Aga Khan, on the auspicious occasion of his 66th Imamat Day celebrated on July 11, 2023. The Mayor in his video message also says that “the work of the Ismaili Center Houston is progressing with a significant structure already in place” (see photograph below.)
