Bismillah
Radiance
more Radiant than any sun
more Glorious than all Universes,
infinitely Generous for all Creation
the Light that transcends all physicality
the Love that pervades all essence
gratitude,
in gratitude
Mawla.
on a hilltop of peace
where grains of sand recite a Word
the sky is clear
the sun is luminous.
there is little sound in the dawn
save the ripples of water
the breeze and all of nature
uttering a name…
the flight of a wing, midair
the rustle of palm leaves
all submit in the natural, playful and new…
isme azam
Mawla
we bear witness to the submission of the Command
that life is temporal
as grain, settle in the sands of ocean floors
drops of water, return to the oceans of earths, and more,
and we are, only for a moment,
Given breath
gratitude,
in all gratitude.
for the bearer of Nur,
Nur e Imamat
Shah Karim to Mawla Rahim in our hearts
closer than our jugular veins
whose Love is much more
than any could be in return
always with us,
we are never alone,
ALWAYS with us,
we are never alone
gratitude ,
in gratitude .
Mawlana Shah Rahim Al-Hussaini
murids bowing heads, giving allegiance;
in exceedingly complex times,
here are your youth ready,
the murids are grounded.
as ephemeral time, ticking by at greater speed,
only the gift of your Light transcending time and space,
beyond seen and unseen
holds us fast,
a spiritually private relationship exists,
in the inhalations and exhalations and in between,
blessings for balancing din and duniya,
knowledge with wisdom, within the ethics of the faith
“no mountain no river no desert “
bowing heads, giving allegiance
in gratitude,
forever gratitude
new smiles on faces,
never alone
the river flows,
a new moment arises

“Oh Ali, the Light of this universe and the hereafter, yesterday marked my second Deedar, and my first as a child. I recall with great reverence how you placed your Mubarak hands on the trays of Mehmani during my first Deedar. Yesterday, however, was a new light—a new day, a rebirth of the universe itself. I pray that you bless me with the opportunity for more seva, so that I may express my eternal gratitude and love for you as your devoted spiritual child. Oh Ali, Master of my heart, I offer my deepest respect and devotion to you oh my Pir oh Ali.”
