SIMERG: Insights from Around the World
Literary readings from Ismaili history, artistic expressions by Ismaili artists, Jamatkhanas, books by Ismaili authors, interviews, Ismaili volunteer stories, iconic series dedicated to special subjects, tributes to deceased Ismailis, essays and letters are among the categories covered in Simerg. Here are a few recent selections posted on Simerg, which was launched in 2009.

SIMERGPHOTOS: Photos and Videos From Around the World
Superb travel essays, nature photos, cultural events, historic monuments, festivals, foods from around the world, coverage of community and AKDN related events, and photo essays one would least expect are all part of Simergphotos that was launched in 2012 as an offshoot of Simerg, to focus on visual expressions. Prior to the 2017 launch of Barakah, which is dedicated to His Highness the Aga Khan, picture stories related to the Ismaili Imam, for example Headmistress Jean Kirk’s collection of photos of the Aga Khan’s Nairobi primary school visit, appeared in Simergphotos.
