The Ismaili, the official website of the Ismaili community, has published a message from Mawlana Hazar Imam, His Highness the Aga Khan, to mark Eid at the end of Ramadan and Nawruz, the Persian New Year.

The 50th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims is scheduled to make an official visit to Canada from March 25 – 31, 2026, during which he will meet with members of his community in Eastern Canada. Barakah has dedicated a special page to his visit to Canada.

As we mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan as well as Nawruz, my family joins me in wishing Eid Mubarak and Nawruz Mubarak to the Ismaili community and all those around the world celebrating these happy occasions. I offer my prayers for good health, safety and security, and, above all, a return to peace in all the parts of the world currently in conflict.
