  1. A lofty and exalted destiny exemplified by the life lived by our beloved Lady Aly Shah. A path to live in search of enlightenment. A puritan with courage, knowledge extremely aware of all that was happening in the world around her. Her deep understanding of the poetry of great Persian poets and the divinity and spirituality derived from it.

  2. Lady Ali Shah, truly inspirational woman for her time. Today when we have special occasions in Jamatkhana, the words of the above mentioned poets are always put into some context of event to remind us of our need to be in search for divine light. What is more interesting that these poets had been in history for centuries and only in the last 15 yrs or so, the Jamati intuition have inserted them into our reflections on occasions such as L’ai tal qadr. Lady Ali shah hinted over a 100 yrs ago what we should be reading to move forward ….loved the article.
