Barakah is dedicated to Mawlana Shah Rahim al Hussaini, His Highness the Aga Khan, members of his family and the Ismaili Imamat – a Hereditary Divine Institution from the Time of the Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ali
Prince Rahim Al Hussaini Aga Khan, the 50th Ismaili Imam, stepped into his role on February 4, 2025, following the passing of his father, Mawlana Shah Karim Al Hussaini, His Highness the Aga Khan. This seamless transition ensures the continuity of the Ismaili Imamat. Ismailis will affectionately and with deep respect refer to their new Imam as Mawlana Shah Rahim Al Hussaini or Mawlana Hazar Imam. We are pleased to share a selection of posts from social media — primarily ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) — following his designation as the 50th Imam.
